Outlook Express 6

I have internet through Comcast cable. I only use OE 6 to access newsgroups.
As of yesterday, however, I've been getting a "The server could not be found"
message when attempting to access newsgroups. The connection is fine and all
browsers are working.

I contacted Comcast to see if this had anything to do with them no longer
providing the "Comcast newsgroup service" through giganews and they said no,
since OE 6 is a third-party newsgroup provider. Any ideas? Thank you!

It is EXACTLY because Comcast in no longer providing newsgroup access
through giganews. You will have to find another provider of usenet news.
Giganews is fine but it costs. Try googling free news servers. You can use
Entourage to access newsgroups instead of OE6, but you will still need a
news server.

Thanks Bob. I had a feeling the Comcast customer service people didn't quite
understand. Any suggestions on a good free news server? Thanks again!
