Outlook Express and Instant Messaging

I am trying to shut down AIM from automatically starting
when I open OE. However, the instructions in the Help
menu do not work. They say to go to Tools, then Options
and clear the box that says to Automatically connect to
the messenger service. That Box does not exist.

Can anyone help me disable AIM from starting automatically
when we open OE?

That box does exist with me. Make sure you have the latest Internet
Explorer/Outlook Express installed.

For more assistance ask in an Outlook Express forum. This is an Microsoft
Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Thanks for the response and the link. I just downloaded
the latest IE and OE v6 but for some reason I do not get
that box to appear along with a few others. I'll try the
same question to the OE user group and see what happens.
