Outlook express and recalling saved messages

J

John Cerny

Hello,
I read the instructions on
www.sitedeveloper.ws/tutorials/outlook.htm in order to
understand how to save email messages in case when I
installed XP, I accidently lost them and could readily
retrieve them.

I followed the instructions. I saved all the ".dbx"
files to a CD. I am now trying to retrieve them, but I
am informed that "no messages can be found in this
folder". However, I can open the file and see all of
the ".dbx" files.

How can I recall all of the messages. HELP! Please
respond to my email account if possible. Thanks.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, John Cerny asked:
