Outlook Express Inbox messages disappeared

All of the messages in my inbox "disappeared" after I
changed to requesting a receipt for sent messages. I'm
not sure if that had anything to do with it or not. The
folder size in application/identities looks like everthing
is there, it just doesn't show. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
