OUTLOOK EXPRESS IS NOT RESPONDING WHEN I OPEN FOLDERS

When I try to open the sent items folder or even a new email, Outlook freezes
up and I have to go to Task Mgr to end program then reopen. What is wrong
with it, this is a brand new computer.

Outlook Express is NOT the same program as "Outlook". Look under Internet
Explorer and repost.
