Outlook express lost my attachments

I have a small issue.

My outlook downloads stuff from work. but when I go to open it the
attachment is gone. even the paper clip is missing.

I have unchecked the " Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened, etc"
with no luck.

I have checked the properties of the email and the attachment was
downloaded. The file size also indicates that it has been downloaded

Can anyone out there help me

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

I ran into that when I used Outlook Express for awhile -
as I recall, there was some change I needed to make in the
level of security in OE.

Go to: Tools>>Options>>Security and uncheck the circle
pertaining to saving/opening attachments then send
yourself a test email w/ an attachment and see if that
works.
