Outlook Express Question..

Here is my question. A while back, when my son was looking for Power Point
for a project for school, somehow he managed to get OE Office 3 (I think
that's what it is) in my computer. I've been having alot of problems with my
computer lately. I know that I have adware and spyware in it that I cannot
get rid of right now though. However, my question is, is there a way to get
rid of this version of OE/Office I have in my computer and go back to a
previous version or even a newer version ?. Thanks for any and all help !.

Some of your terms are confusing. OE (Outlook Express) is not part of any Office
suite, whereas Outlook is. There is no such thing as Office 3.

In almost all applications for Windows, its version is displayed by clicking on
Help > About.

If you want to remove a Windows application, the most likely place to look first
is in the list contained in the Add/Remove tool found in the Control Panel.

Whether you are installing a legacy version or the latest version of MS Office
there may be some reservations. We can only comment on these reservations if we
know the versions of your operating system and Office suite you plan to install.

First thing you should do is purge your system of all malware and install
anti-spyware software to protect it. If you're running Windows XP, Microsoft
offers you Windows Defender at no cost.
