Outlook express randomly sends e-mail before I'm done

I have a laptop with a rather small keyboard. Almost every time I
try
to send an e-mail, the e-mail will send before I've finished typing
it. So I have to send the e-mail in segments, which is a big problem
because then the recipient gets about three partial e-mails from me.
This is very frustrating and has been going on for a very long time
so
I decided to post this message to see if anyone had any suggestions.
