This can happen for several reasons. Do you have internet
connection? Can you get to the internet through IE? Check
to make sure your email settings are correct in Outlook
express. Your ISP should have provided you with the
correct email servers. Try to ping the email server. Go to
a dos prompt and type in ping <your email server> such as
ping mail.yahoo.com. Sometime, although rare, the problem
can be your ISP. You may want to call them to help you
through all of this.
