Outlook Express

Phil

When I turned on my PC today and opened Outlook Express,
all messages in my in box, received prior to when I last
turned off my PC have been deleted. They are not in my
deleted items folder. Is there anyway to get these back
and any idea what caused this to happen? Thanks.

This is a Windows question not an office outlook question. But check your View setting and make sure it is not set to hide read messages.

I had the same problem & managed to get back the folders
& their contents but not the contents of the INBOX. See
the post(s) under General, there is a link there from me
that worked to recover folders.

As Mary has suggested, I have posted same question on
Windows to see if anyone can help.

Mary: Checked the View setting and it is set to show all.
Donna may have some other suggestions. Will check Windows
postings too. Thanks.
