Outlook Express

Robert

I have Outlook Express version 6 installed on my PC at the
moment but have obtained a new PC and would like to
install Outlook or Outlook Express onto the new PC and
then import all folder items e.g. Inbox, Sent items, etc.

I have a general idea how to do it but want to be exactly
sure as i don't want to lose any of my data. The operating
on both my old and new PC's are Windows 2000.

Any assistance greatly appreciated, like i say it is
imperative i don't lose any of my data.

Thanks

If you want to stick with Outlook Express, ask in an Outlook Express
newsgroup and read http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/ . If you wish to
transfer your items to Outlook, then review the aforementioned web page to
learn how to transfer from OE on your old machine to OE on the new one.
Then, after installing and configuring Outlook on your new machine, in OE,
use Export>Messages to transfer your mail from OE to Outlook. To transfer
your address book, in Outlook, user >Import and Export>Import Internet Mail
and Addresses>Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, 6.x.
