I purchased Outlook 2003 but the icon says
it is Outlook Express. The same is true when
I use the program it says it is Outlook Express.
Am I missing something?
Perhaps. If I have an icon that says "Outlook Express" and I click on it, I
_expect_ "Outlook Express" to be the program that is opened. Outlook Express
is a "lightweight" e-mail and news reader program that comes, free, along
with the free Internet Explorer. It may create an icon on the desktop, when
no shortcut to Outlook itself is provided.
Open the "Programs" list from the Start button in the lower left corner of
the screen and look for Microsoft Office 2003 System, which should contain
Outlook 2003, or, if you only purchased Outlook, it may be listed separately
as "Microsoft Outlook".
And, you'd likely have a better chance of getting _good_ Outlook or Outlook
Express answers if you'd ask in a newsgroup devoted to one or the other of
those products. This newsgroup is for Q&A about Microsoft Access database
software.
