Outlook Failing to search correctly

I have several users in our installation who has demonstrated that the Search
feature in outlook is failing to display some messages that are known and
should be included in the search results. Is this a known issue and is there
a KB article or some other resource that explains this issue and how to
address it?

Version of Outlook? Are you using Windows Desktop Search or the native
outlook search?

Sorry my mistake.

Outlook 2003, and this is native searches. I am having trouble finding a
common issue between messages that are not being displayed as results,
however these are simple word match searches and these messages that are not
being displayed do clearly contain the simple search string.
