outlook folders cannot be opened

Where is the Outlook Address Book Service?...see the sentence below...

Did you remove and re-add the Outlook Address Book Service to reset it? Be
sure to restart Outlook in between.

It's a sevice in your profile. For Outlook 98 and 2000 in C/W mode or
Outlook 97, you can get at it with Tools>Services. For Outlook 2002/2003,
you can find it at Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories
or address books>Next

Must I be in MS Outlook to get to my profile? If yes, I can't open MS
Outlook, that's what my original problem was - it won't open. I'm using
WinXP and MS Office 2003.

No. You should be able to open your profile with Control Panel>User
Accounts>Mail>Show Profiles
