Outlook for MAC

V

Vicki Jennings

Bought my wife a Mac Book Pro and loaded parallels for easy PC switch over
and installed MS office mainly Word and Outlook.
MS Office 2008 has Word and seems to be fine, but no Outlook and she uses
only outlook for all email. The Entourage seems to work fine, but does not
import PST files. Anyone know a trick to get this over with all folders
etc.

Thanks

Why don't you set her up to continue to use Outlook on Windows? Why change?

I've recently moved to a MacBook, and while I do use Apple Mail, I also
use Outlook on Windows XP (on top of VMware Fusion).

Entourage can do most things just fine, so if you want to switch, here are
some instructions:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/import_export/pst.html>

Keep in mind, though, that importing PST files is not easily accomplished.
Microsoft have announced that the next version of Office for Mac will
include Outlook for Mac instead of Entourage, but nothing has been said
about whether it will also make use of PST files and whether it will be easy
to import Windows-based PST files.
