Outlook freezes when starting

When starting outlook it freezes but all other office
programs work fine. I remove office and reinstalled and
still have the same problems, any ideas?

With Outlook closed delete or rename a file called outcmd.dat, this is a
hidden file in Windows 2000 and Windows XP and to show hidden files go to
Control Panel > Folder Options > View > check Show hidden files and folders.
Note deleting/renaming this file will cause all customisation of toolbars to
be reset to default
