My Outlook freezes and almost stops the computer. What is it synchronizing
and why? Thanks for any suggestions. Don't know why necessary?

It would appear that this is a similar problem following an update last
year. Mail icon keeps flashing and states it is synchronizing folders when
there is no mail movement. I can only hope that the next update will rectify
it. I am using Office 2007 with XP.
