Only on one machine does Outlook frequently lockup. This happens either
when I start Outlook and it does send/receive and just hanges. Or when
trying to open an attachment. Here is what I have tried.
0. Disabled Norton Anti-Virus autoprotect - same result when on or off.
1. Done Scanpst on the .pst file - no errors.
2. Opened the same profile on other machines (XP pro, Win2K Adv Server)
using Office 2k3 both with and without sp1. No problems - so the .pst must
be fine.
3. Scanned for Spyware (Spybot) on problem machine.
4. Tried to upgrade to Office 2K3 sp1 unsuccessfully several times. No
error message - just said it was unsuccessful.
5. I also uninstalled the whole Office 2K3 suite several times then did a
complete reinstall - same problems and still unable to upgrade to sp1.
