Outlook Global Address Book/Contacts?

D

Don

I’m using Outlook 2003 SP-1.

When I want to send mail, I click on the "To:" button.
I get the Select Names window.
I’d like to select names from my Contacts List, but the first list
that’s shown is always the Global Address List.
Is there a way to set up Outlook so the Global Address List doesn’t
come up at all, and ONLY the Contacts List is shown? If not, how
about the Contacts List first?

Thanks!

Yes, you can configure Outlook to show the contacts list first.

* Start Outlook
* Open the address book (ctrl + shift + b)
* Pick Tools > Options

At this point you can configure which address to show first and/or control
which book should be used first in name resolution.
