Outlook Groups vanished except "Older"?

All emails comes in under the "Older" category. How do I get the others
(today, yesterday, Sunday, etc.) back?

What did you change between now and the last time things looked correct?
What version of Outlook are you using? What view are you using?

Outlook 2003, View -> Arrange by Date -> Show in Groups.

I changed nothing, though windows went through a series of updates upon a
restart.

Which view are you using. You don't say.

Yes. Did you try resetting that view to its default configuration?
View>Arrange By>Current View>Customize Current View>Reset Current View.

I figured out the problem. I had inadvertantnly set my clock to October,
therefore everything was "older" to Outlook. Once I set the clock to July,
all was well.
