Outlook hanging

I have installed Outlook 2007 on my Windows XP professional machine
The first time I got an error regarding the windows indexer so I uninstalled
my previous version of Outlook before reinstalling 2007. Now my system just
hangs at the outlook screen. I have gone into the control panel and setup my
pop server information to no avail - PLEASE HELP!!!

You cannot have installed OL2007 on a PC in which another version of OL
exists, the installtion wont permit it, it will upgrade an earlier version
though.
Are you installing a stand alone version of OL 2007 or the Office 2007 pkge?
What version of Office/OL was origonally installed?
Windows Indexer? ar you refering to Windows Desk Top Search?
Have you used your cd to repair the OL installation?

Yes it was an upgrade from 2003 to 2007
The indexer problem got resolved by uninstalling 2003. I was still able to
install the upgrade version of outlook.
No I haven't tried to repair. How do you go about doing that>

Ok I have tried to repair outlook using the cd to no avail
Someone please help!!!!!
