Outlook hangs when you disable Windows Messenger 4.7

I edited the registry to disable Windows Messenger on my
XP Pro workstation. Now, whenever I start Outlook (2002),
the program hangs for a good minute or so before starting
up. How do I fix this? This wasn't a problem in Outlook
2000.

Please let me know if you find out how to correct this. I
have done the same thing and keep hanging also.

Thanks, Ellen
