Outlook http access to Exchange should allow a port to be specifi.

Configuring outlook client to access Exchnage via http requires a proxy to be
configured. However the URL is not allowed to contain a port specificication.
This seems a strange omission.

The http proxy on the server knows the port to use - you just need to
connect to it.
