Outlook icon stay in system tray after closing and prevents

Outlook icon stay in system tray after closing and prevents re-opening of Outlook unless you kill Outook.exe process. (Outlook 2003) I have removed and re-install. Thanks for the help..

Most likely some add-in is holding Outlook open. For more info see;
