Hello everyone. I have run into an issue on a Dell GX150 running WinNT4
Workstation SP6a and ActiveX. I originally saw the problem in just IE but
the problem also exists in Outlook XP. The exact same dialog box appears.
The box (not word for word) states that there is a control that is not
allowed so the page will not be displayed correctly. I have reapplied SP6A,
all critical updates with exception of language packs, attempted to run
Office updates (that generates a message about invalid code on the page) and
failed. If you try to open a pdf in IE, that generates the dialog box about
the security error. You can download the pdf and open it. Is there a way
to just reinstall ActiveX without reinstalling NT and spending the hours
updating and patching NT, Office and the rest of the programs?
