Outlook ignores middle initial when deciding rule

Hi all,
For the company I work with, if there are two people with the same name, the
second person has their middle initial in their work email.

i.e. [email protected] and [email protected]

Trouble is, if I set up a rule for the first name, it also applies it to the
second! Is there any way around this?

Are you creating a rule for incoming mail or a filter in a view or advanced
find?

Create a rule for the address, not the display name.

Change the rule for "Bob A" instead of just "Bob".
