I have been having frustrating issues with Outlook 2003 rules. I use rules
extensively and therefore always export and save a .rwz file when I add or
change a rule. However, recently I created a rule from a message, and then
could not edit or delete the rule. These options were greyed out. Even the
deactivation checkmark would not work. So I applied the /cleanrules switch
and imported my saved .rwz file. Now none of the imported rules function or
can be edited or deleted.
I have tried creating a new profile and importing the .RWZ file into this,
with the same results.
Have I lost all my rules now, after years of work? Despite carefully backing
up?
