Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.6627) initiates fine from my PC's administrative
account but subordinate account users get the following messages:
- Preparing to install...
- Please wait while...
- Error 1706...
Selecting "Cancel" from the Error 1706 message causes the above message
sequence to repeat. Selecting "Cancel" again repeats the sequence.
Selecting "Cancel" again repeats the sequence, then loads Outlook but repeats
the sequence. Selecting "Cancel" again then allows use of the software. A
check of the subordinate account's Outlook icon properties confirms its
trying to load it from the same location as from my administrative account.
Can anyone tell me what's causing this?
