Outlook Integration

New trial version: Groove attempts to search Outlook contacts to find a name
I type in to join a workspace, but just hangs. No apparent integration with
Outlook, no Groove icon in Outlook, etc. I have reinstalled, redownloaded
several times, turned off virus and firewall to install, etc. Any help?

There is a line in the dialogue box that says searching Outlook for the name
I type in to invite someone to the workspace.

Larry Groove is looking into your outlook contacts to find the email address
of the contact in order to process the invtation to the workspace. If it
finds no match for th name you typed in either your Groove contacts or
Outlook contacts it waits for you to maunally enter the enail address. There
is no Groove icon in Outlook.

Most integration with Outlook was removed from Microsoft Office Groove 2007.
In the "Introduction" book of the Groove Help, you might want to look in
"What's new in this release of Microsoft Office Groove" for both the new
features list and the list "Features and tools no longer available in this
release".

I hadn't been aware of the Outlook contact search in Groove 2007, so I just
tried the it. The search does work for me with Outlook 2007, but I needed to
enter the email address, not the display name. The other features that
provide integration with other Office applications all require the 2007
version, so this one may as well.

Take a look at GrooveIT! for Microsoft Office Outlook.

http://www.grooveit.biz/

It replaces and goes far beyond the former "send to Groove" feature.

Please contact me for any additional information :)
