Outlook is bring down my computer

P

Patty

I have the automatic update option turned on on my
computer and recently (beginning of last week) had done an
update that Microsoft had listed. (I now do not remeber
which one.) After running he update, now, everytime I open
my Outlook and it starts log on to the server, my PC
restarts. I am running a wireless network and have Norton
personal firewall running. If I disable the firewall
before opening Outlook everything is fine, however I hate
turning off my firewall since I have a DSL line. I have
been watching for another update firuring someone else
must have encountered this but have so far seen nothing.
any ideas out there? Your help would be greatly
appreciated.

Sounds like you need an update from Symantec. Temporarily use XP's built-in
firewall.

Thanks Brian, I'll try sending them a meesage. I did look
on their website to see if anything came up and I didn't
see anything. I know everyone replies pretty quickly here
so I thought I'd try here first. Again, thank you.
