Outlook is crazy

L

Ludovico

Hi,
in these days i added the google pop3 and smtp account. I don't know
since when, but every message was still sent with that account even if
is not the default one.
Ok, no problem, let's look at the settings... everything is ok, the
default account is another one, and in the message i can choose the
account i want for sending the message.
Nothing. It continues sending EVERY email with google account.
I deleted the google account and... I CAN'T SEND ANY MESSAGES!
Ok, i'm not crazy... let's disable the antivirus, probably an
intromission in outlook's work. Nothing.
Every time i try to send a message i receive a message from the
"System administrator" (local computer) that tells me something like
this (translated in english):
"cannot send messages without an account"
Hey, i have 3 accounts correctly configured!

What's happened?!?

The only thing that comes to mi mind is that gmail account uses
authenticated connections, while the others not. I re-inserted the
gmail account and... it works as the beginning, sending every message
with that one (even if i specified another one)

I even tryed to
- uninstall and reinstall outlook
- set in the other accounts the autentication and removing it.
- removing all accounts and re-configuring one by one.

Nothing changed.

Please note that i'm shure that the settings of the other accounts are
right

This might be worth a go.
try tools, options, mail services, reconfigure mail support, and switch it
to corporate (will probably need the CD) then set it back to internet. This
thinking behind this is that I have lost settings that I did not want to
loose like this so you may loose the settings that you do want to and the
reinstall still kept.
