Outlook is deleting all of my old meetings - Why???

For some unexplainable reason, Outlook has been deleting
all of my past meetings and calendar items from a few days
on after each item has been passed. I used to think this
was a Palm synchronization issue but now feel that it is
an Outlook issue. If anyone has anyone ideas about this,
I'd greatly appreciate it.

Could it be that AutoArchive is enabled? Tools-> Options-> tab Other
Open the pst-file that is configured there by File-> Open-> Outlook Data
File to see what's inside.

My problem is just the opposite. I cant get my deleted
folder to empty. I get: Error has been dectected in the
file c:\document and
settings\Jennifer\localsettings/applicationdata\microsoft\
outlook\outlook.pst
I can only get as far as this:
c:\programfiles\commonfiles\system\MSMAPI\1033
it doesnt have an outlook.exe file to scan.
PLEASE HELP I have tried every help link i can find
