Outlook is looking for an exchange server connection.

I am using Outlook 2000. Every time I try to start it I get a message that
says I must log on to the exchange server at least one time. The poblem is I
am not connected to an exchange server computer nor do I have access to one.
How do I fix outlook so it will start and let me enter contact and calender
information.

Was this account setup recently? If so, remove the profile from
Tools>services and re-add it making sure you setup your profile as a POP3
account and not an Exchange server account. Hope that helps.

Click Tools>Services and remove the Exchange service from the profile.
