Outlook is sending more than one email

I am sending emails using the "distribution list" and
placing multiple email addresses in here for a mailshot.
My email recipients are getting this email as many as 10
times - which must be very irritating! Why does this
happen? I can confirm that I only send it once. Anyone
got any ideas?
