Outlook License

Bob

I got a copy of Outlook 2002 with my HP PDA. Initially i
loaded the program to my LAPTOP and registered the
product.

Later I loaded the program to a new DESKTOP computer, but
I have been getting a message that says "I have not
activated my copy of the software and that it will run
only 5 more times. Upon trying to activate the product
using internet, i get an error that states that I have
already activated this product on another computer.

Do I need to uninstall outlook from the laptop before I
can use it on the desktop? If so, how do I de-
activateisable the product on the laptop so that I can
activate the desktop copy?
Please help
Bob

Hi Bob,

you have installed OL on a Laptop. It meant 1Licence for one Computer.
If you want to install the OL on another Computer, you need one more
licence. So if you dont activate your OL, you have the chance to open the
application 50 times. After that, it cant open again.
SO you have to register the OL.
So if you reinstall the OL on another computer, please call the Microsoft
Activation service. But you will see it after you have installed the office
on your desktop. But you have to reinstall the "laptop" version b4.

You will need to check the EULA for your particular edition of Outlook 2002,
and see how many computers it allows you to use the product on at one time.
If your edition allows installation to both a desktop and a laptop
simultaneously, then you will need to call Microsoft Product Support
Services and explain to them that you have already activated on the laptop
and now need activation on the desktop. They should be able to do that for
you. Internet activation only works for the first machine.
