Outlook Lock Up

My Outlook 2000 has suddenly stopped responding. It will begin to open then
locks before fully starting. I have removed it using control panel, removed
it using the progam CD and removed it manually and re-installed it each time.

I've tried renaming the outcmd.dat file to .old and still get the lockup.
I've been able to get Outlook to open by re-installing it (not remove and
install) but it locks up again after the first access. Any other suggestions?

The other file that could be causing problems is "Extend.dat". Try starting
Outlook in Safe Mode with the /safe command line switch:
