Outlook - mail notification

Does anyone know if, and how, you can turn off the mail
icon which appears in the taskbar whenever new mail
arrives? (I am ware that you can turn off the sound and
message via the e-mail options menu)

What version of Outlook are you running and what mode (Corp/Workgroup,
Internet Mail Only, etc.) do you have it installed in? If you're not sure,
check Help | About.
