outlook mail profile

Hi,

I am trying to use c# to automate outlook 2003 to send email.
Very strange that I can send email without login to the outlook mail profile
first ??
Why ?
Is this due to outlook will use the default profile for sending email if the
user not login to any profile
before sending email ?
