Outlook merge

I have a merge document set up in Word with fields to
either be filled in by typing or from another program. I
want to send this document from Word and need to have the
subject line in the email equal to a field in the
document, the same is for the email address. Is this
possible?

No, this is not possible in Office. You would need to use a third-party mass mail tool. See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail for what's available.
