Outlook Minimize Closes

When I minimize my Outlook it automatically closes out...does anyone know how
to fix this. The thing I did prior was download the Word07 free download so
my Word03 is up to date. Any help would be great this is driving me nuts!!!!

Right click on the Outlook icon in the lower right corner and uncheck "hide
when minimized."
