When I use the minimizer bar, outlook closes. How can I fix?

It doesn't close, it minimizes to the Notification Area of the System Tray (near the clock at the right end). RIght-click the Outlook icon in the tray and uncheck "Hide When Minimized".

D DL Feb 2, 2009 #3 How do you know it closes? Is the Outlook icon not hidden with your other start icons? (rt of task bar) In Task Manager>Running Processess is Outlook.exe listed?
