Outlook Mobile Notification

I just enabled mobile notification in Outlook 2007. When I try to enable any
notifications, I receive the following error message: At least one mobile
number is not recognizable. Check the mobile numbers, and then try again.

I have tried the following formats:
1234567890
(123) 456-7890
1 (123) 456-7890
+1 (123) 456-7890

None of the above formats work.
