Outlook - month view

Edward Tam

The month view is a bit stupid.

Whenever I switch to calendar (month view), I expect it to
show today and the days around today.

But the month view, by default, goes to show the 1st day
of the current month at the 1st line. This is a stupid
logic.

For example, today is 30th of August, it goes to show the
1st of August at the 1st line, but in doing so, it puts
today (30th of August) out of view !

My suggestion is to show today in the middle.
The correct logic should be:
(1) to calculate the number of lines in the view, for
example, 5 lines in the view, then today should be at the
3rd line.
(2) to calculate the day to be shown at the 1st line, for
example, if today is at the 3rd line, then 14 days ago
should be at the 1st line, so that (today - 14 days)
(3) to show this day at the 1st line, then today will
appear at the middle.
