Outlook moving read emails back to inbox after being moved to fold

Hi folks,

I have a client that's being annoying with emails she's read, and placed
manually in other folders in outlook, ending back in her inbox the next time
she opens outlook. Emails are being stored on the exchange server and there
are no rules present at all.

She is also has a BB pearl working off the BES, but the sync is set so that
mailbox wins.

any idea's?

is she using cached exchange, classic exchange, or a pst? The first two are
necessary for it to work and if she's using cached, then the server is not
getting updated.
