Outlook Not Accepting Password

I've seen some posts with a *similar* issue where the Enter Password window
comes up and they user has to constantly enter the password to send/recieve
mail. In this instance, entering the proper password does not help. We've
verified that the password is correct as the user can enter the password
into their web-based email system, but Outlook will not accept it.

I need to get over there tomorrow to troubleshoot and "solve" this problem
and any assistance would be appreciated.

Vitals:
Outlook version: 2002
Windows version: XP
Connection = DSL

Roady,

Thanks for the suggestions. I have seen the article that pertains to
Outlook 2002 on Windows XP. I'm wondering if this might be a different
issue. In this scenario, even when I type in the password, I get a message
that the password is not valid. The KB articles mentioned seem to deal with
Outlook not remembering the password vs. the correct password generating an
error message.
