Outlook Not Communicating

It would appear Outlook has stopped playing ball with my other
programs.

Activesync can no longer sync with it and AVG doesn't seem to
acknowledge it's existence :(

Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?

(I'm on Windows XP SP1 and Outlook 2002 (10.4219.4219.SP2))

The only thing that changed recently was I added a spam checker
(Spambayes) but I have removed it and I still have problems :(

Any ideas?
