Outlook not responding on startup

I am constantly getting a Not Responding when starting Outlook 2000. I
sometimes have to wait and it finally starts and I can see my Inbox (after
10mins or more) or I get fed up and End program. In the past I have tried
doing a detect and repair but with no success. Maybe if I knew exactly what
was happening when the program starts I would have some idea what might be
stopping it from openning. Any suggestions?

That's a funny one:

RESOLUTION
You can help alleviate this problem by using a faster connection and eliminating as many client-side rules as possible in the Rules Wizard

In other words get a better ISP and don't use Rules. So in fact we only made it don't blame us it's a problem with the way you are trying to use what we provide. What a cop out!
