Outlook not sending e-mail

Spent past week solving browser hijack problem. Now I
can't get my business mail to send although receving is
fine. It keeps trying to set up a new account. I've
triple checked all settings, retyped them in and no luck.
Could this be a registry key issue or soemthing else that
may have been affected by all the procedures I tried
before getting rid of a hijacker, a worm and a trojan?
(In spite of ad-aware, McAfee on line etc.) Can you help?

Probably no help without some concrete information - what version of
Outlook, what browser hijack was it, what exact errors are you receiving?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Sorry. XP Pro, Outlook 2002 IBM ThnkCentre with IBM
preload. Have run hijackthis, spybot, done scans at panda
and trend; am running McAFee online version 8.0+ Have
also run Buster, Spykiller (now deleted). IE 6.0+ was
hijacked. Get auto updates from MS as well as McAFee.
Last update was, I believe Wednesday from MS IE.System
has been in operation since November, 2003.
