Outlook not updated inbox/outbox until I click on click on either...

This is a wierd issue that has been happening on a few clients here on my
network.

Outlook XP and Outlook 2K connecting to Exchange 2K SP3

When I create a new email message and send - Outlook shows the number
indicator next to the outbox as if its still in the outbox, but when I click
on the outbox the indicator disappears and the outbox shows no messages.
This also happens to the inbox, nothing will show up unless I click on "any"
folder within Outlook.

Anyone seen or heard of this issue?
