Outlook Notes Folder Vanished from OL 2003, but there in OL 2000

I use OL2003 on my office PC, but OL2000 on our terminal server. When I view
my Exchange mailbox in OL2003, the Notes folder & its contents are missing,
but when I do the same from the OL2000 client running on the terminal server
the folder & its contents are there & accessible.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue with OL2003? This is a recent problem.
I used to be able to see the folder in OL2003. I don't appear to have
accidentally dragged it to be a subfolder of another folder. It's very odd.
Thanks,
Nick.

Are you accessing the same mailbox with both versions of Outlook on
Exchange?

Yes I am. I have found that the Notes folder is missing from the folder tree
in OL2003, it is there in OL2000. Notes appear in the Navigation Panel & I
can right click on the Notes bar in the panel, choose "open in new window" &
then, in this new window I can see my notes, but when I close the window I
still cannot see a notes folder in the folder tree & if I simply click on the
notes bar in the navigation panel nothing happens. Hope this additonal info
might reveal a clue to the problem.
Thanks,
Nick.

The basic problem is that you are accessing the mailbox with 2 different
versions of Outlook. Outlook 2003 configures the mailbox to work with it
and then Outlook 2000 reconfigures it to work with it.

Secondly, if you show the all folders view of the Navigation Pane, does your
Notes folder show then?

It is not recommended to keep switching between Outlook versions when
accessing the same mailbox on Exchange.
